It's an exciting time for Skechers Brand Manager Shane. The Skechers range is gathering ground Australia wide and with ranges getting stronger and stronger there are big plans in place to give this brand the Australian identity it deserves. Shane lets us in on what he can,the big clue though? Watch this space.
What was the highlight for Skechers last year?
The highlight of 2011 for Skechers would have to be the success of the Shape-ups LIV by Skechers product. This was a fantastic update of the Original Shape-ups toning shoes and gave Skechers a fitness shoe with more diversity and a wider consumer base to target.
What can we expect from the brand this year?
This year will see more colour back in the range and while the fitness range is expenading rapidly expect to see some strong lifestyle product across womens and mens and some very exciting kids product with even more sparkle!
GOrun has recently launched in Australia and New Zealand, tell us a bit more about this addition to the brand.
Skechers GOrun is a minimalist performance running shoe that is ultra lightweight. It has been our entry into the mid foot strike/barefoot running market and is already creating a lot of interest and will be further enhanced by our Skechers Ambassador Meb Keflezighi, recently qualifying for the London Olympics wearing Skechers GOrun.
And your pick for the season?
In mens it will be the Serreno-Gordon in Grey as well as the Yellow/Black GOrun.

In womens you wont go past the Pandora-Sugar Rush in Olive or for the fitness enthusiast the Coral Skechers GOrun.

In boys and girls we have some fantastic updates in our lighted footwear with the Boys Manifold a new Street Racer favoruite, and to make it easy for the girls the Shuffles-Triple Time with 3 Velcro straps is a fast way to get into your new pair of shoes.
