Skechers Insider Program Terms and Conditions

1. Membership –

1.1 By joining our Skechers Insider Program, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

You are opting in to receive marketing communications via email, mail, SMS and telephone from Skechers Australia. To stop receiving those communications from Skechers, you can choose to opt out after receiving an email or SMS via the opt-out function located at the bottom of every communication sent to you. Alternatively, you can send us a message via our Help Centre or call us on 1800 875 275.

Please note when opting out via the unsubscribe link within Skechers marketing emails, you are opting out from email marketing communications only. When opting out of Skechers SMS marketing communications via the opt out link function, you are opting out of SMS marketing communications only. To opt out of mail or all other forms of marketing, please send us a message via our Help Centre or call 1800 875 275.

When you choose to opt out from receiving marketing communications you will no longer receive notification of any Skechers Insider Program promotions through that channel, and you forgo access to member offers, events, gifts and competitions.

 

1.2 There are 2 methods of entry into the Program:

Method 1 – Existing Subscriber >

If you are an existing subscriber to the Skechers Australia marketing database, and you have a unique customer ID (allocated to you after making a purchase with Skechers Australia), you will be contacted by Skechers regarding your inclusion in the Program as an existing subscriber. You will have the opportunity to notify Skechers if you don’t want to be included in the Skechers Insider Program.

If you join the Skechers Insider Program via this method, you will receive an immediate $20 Reward that is valid for 2 weeks from the date the Reward is issued to your Member account.

This Reward is in place of the $20 Reward you would otherwise earn if you were to join the Skechers Insider Program as a New Member, outlined in Method 2.

If you choose to opt-out of inclusion in the Skechers Insider Program via this method, you may choose to join the Skechers Insider Program at a later date via Method 2.

If you are an existing subscriber who does not have a unique customer ID, you will be notified of the Skechers Insider Program via an email from Skechers Australia and will be prompted to join as a New Member.

 

Method 2 – New Member >

If you are a new customer to Skechers Australia, you will be prompted to join the Skechers Insider Program as a New Member. You will be entered into the Program using the email address you provided at sign up and will earn a $20 Reward when making your first purchase after joining the Program. This $20 Reward will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

1.3 You must be a resident of Australia to become a member of the Skechers Insider Program.

1.4 You must be 18 years or older and hold a unique and valid email address to be a member of the Skechers Insider Program.

1.5 You can use your Skechers Insider membership at any Skechers retail store in Australia and at the Skechers Australia website at www.skechers.com.au.

1.6 To be eligible for Skechers Insider Program benefits and exclusive offers in-store, you must identify yourself as a Skechers Insider Program Member before purchase by providing the name and email address you used when signing up to the Program. When shopping online, you must log in using the email address you used when signing up, in order to access and use any valid Rewards and see any information relating to your Skechers Insider account.

1.7 Your Skechers Insider Program account is issued by Skechers and is not transferable to any other person.

1.8 Skechers will not accept any liability for any of your member communications that are misdirected, lost or not received.

1.9 Skechers may collect your personal information for the purpose of facilitating the Skechers Insider Program. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Skechers Privacy Policy.

1.10 Skechers may, at any time and in its discretion, require you to provide proof of identification (in a form requested by Skechers) to verify the authenticity of your membership and compliance with the Skechers Insider Program Terms and Conditions. Failure to provide proof of identification may result in termination of your membership.

1.11 You are to read these Program Terms and Conditions in conjunction with any additional conditions associated with Rewards, including without limitation the Website Terms and Conditions and other relevant Skechers Policies and Terms and Conditions.

1.12 It is your responsibility to update your Skechers Insider Program member profile with details of your email address, phone number and postal address, otherwise Skechers may not be able to contact you about your membership, rewards, special offers or entry to competitions or Member events.

1.13 Skechers reserves the right to change, cancel or modify the Terms of your membership, or withdraw the Program, at any time. Skechers will make all reasonable efforts to communicate changes in advance to you via email or the Skechers website.

 

2. Rewards –

2.1 To redeem your $20 Reward as either an Existing Subscriber or New Member, you must spend $100 or more in a single transaction either in-store or online, excluding shipping costs. Your $20 Reward cannot be used for payment of laybys or applied to prior purchases. A limit of one $20 initial Reward per Skechers Insider member is available for single use only.

Your Reward is not transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, used in conjunction with any other offer or used for the purchase of gift cards (physical or electronic).

Using your Reward in-store:

When shopping in-store, you must provide the email address you used when joining the Program in order for your $20 Reward to be applied to your transaction by a Skechers team member.

Using your Reward online:

When shopping online, you must create an account using the email address supplied when joining the Program and be logged in to your account when checking out, in order for your $20 Reward to be applied to your online transaction. At the checkout page, your $20 Reward will appear with a prompt to ‘Apply your $20 Reward’ which you must select in order for the Reward to be used as part of payment towards your transaction. If you do not select to apply your Reward to the transaction, it will remain unused on your Member account.

Please note, any Reward returned to you due to the cancellation, return or exchange of a product can only be redeemed in Skechers Australia retail stores. Rewards returned to your Skechers Insider account due to the above reasons are not valid for use on the Skechers website at this time.

 

2.2 Other than the initial $20 Reward issued to you, the Skechers Insider Program may give you access to Member competitions and events or may include the allocation of surprise gifts and rewards to your account from time to time. At its sole discretion, Skechers may provide access to these items to some or all Members of the Program. You will be notified via email should any of these apply your Skechers Insider account.

 

2.3 If you don’t adhere to these Terms and Conditions, Skechers reserves the right to cancel your Skechers Insider account and any associated Rewards at any time.

 

2.4 Skechers reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or vary the Rewards offered to you within the Program at its discretion, including Rewards awarded in error or earned fraudulently. Skechers will make all reasonable efforts to communicate these changes to you via email or the Skechers website.

 

2.5 If your Membership is terminated for any reason, your Rewards will no longer be valid and will be rendered null and void.

 

2.6 If you redeem a Reward for the purchase of multiple items, the application of that Reward’s value will be split proportionally over the products in the order based on the value of each item. For example, if you purchase a pair of shoes and a pack of socks, you might see the bulk of your $20 reward being applied to your shoes, based on the value of this item being higher.

If your order is cancelled or you choose to return or exchange a product, Skechers will adjust your Member account so that the correct Reward amount is returned to you. The amount returned will be based on the portion of the reward that was applied to the specific product you are returning, as stated above.

 

2.7 You can view your Rewards at any time by logging in to your account on the Skechers Australia website.

 

2.8 You can only earn and redeem Rewards at Skechers retail stores in Australia and on the Skechers Australia website (www.skechers.com.au). Rewards cannot be earned or redeemed at any other Skechers stockists.

 

2.9 You can only redeem rewards from one (1) Skechers Insider account per transaction.

 

2.10 Certain products and promotions may be excluded from the Program and this will be notified to you where it is applicable via the Terms and Conditions of the specific promotion.
